The Chief Instigator

Lindsey Newkirk is the co-founder and 'Chief Instigator' of Junk to Funk.  She started the Junk to Funk Recycled Fashion Show Contest in 2006 because she thought the concept would be a good fit for Portland; mixing sustainability, fashion, art and a little bit of weird.  Click to read more.

The Junk to Funk's House of Trashion is comprised of the most frequently participating and highly talented designers whose creativity and passion for change also helps to steer the direction and growth of Junk to Funk.  Meet the Individuals that make up the House of Trashion.

Trashioneers

The Junk to Funk Trashioneers are the designers, teachers, volunteers and interns that are involved in Junk to Funk on a regular basis.  It's because of these talented and dedicated individuals that Junk to Funk exists.  See who's involved.
